Udah lama ndak nulis blog. Sekarang nulis blog lagi dah. Sekalian laporan ke para pembaca.
Seminggu terakhir memang banyak kegiatan pribadi maupun organisasi. Latihan tari saman dan ngibing buat rehersal (bener gak sie nulisnya) di Newcastle uni tanggal 18 Maret 2010. Wish us luck please. Konsepnya mirip sama yang di Northumbria kemarin, sekarang dengan tambahan tema dan cerita yang pastinya akan lebih menarik.
Hari ini kerja, seperti biasa ketemu sang manajer yang wanita. Nah, manajer ini suka sekali terburu-buru kalau penutupan. alhasil, dalam waktu setengah jam berhasil diselesaikan bersih-bersih buffet dan semua kontainer. Walaupun ndak maksimal. Normalnya sekitar 45-60 menit. ini 30 menit, jadi ya as i did my best.
Minggu kemarin sempet juga jadi moderator di pengajian. Pertama kali, dan beda gitu lingkungannya. Aku masih harus banyak belajar dari bapak-bapak ini. Rata-rata bapak-bapak yang sudah berkeluarga dan bekerja juga sedang menjalani PhD, kadang pendapat kita dianggap masih pendapat anak kecil. If you know what i mean. Juga dari joke-jokenya. Itu jadi tantangan yang mantap buat dipelajari, jadi yup aku belajar banyak dari sini. Semoga ke depannya bisa lebih baik dan lebih mantap.
Besok ketemu Ken sang supervisor yang mirip Jackie Chan. so wish me luck again. Want to go home soon.. :)

Not only badly beaten by the global crisis, where some of us may remember the drama that US autocar-maker created last year crying for help over the bailout funds, apparently the storm for them has not ended yet. Several automaker recalling their products from the market!!
Lets check the facts :
- September 2009 - Toyota said it would recall ~3.8 Mn cars from US due to its floor mat that they worry can come loose and force down accelerator. Its suspected in an accident that have killed five people.
- October 2009 – Ford doing a recall rally impacting ~14 Mn (the last call was ~4.5 Mn alone!!) vehicles due to a problematic cruise control deactivation switch.
- January 2010 – Toyota recall 5.6 Mn cars in US because of sudden acceleration. Its recorded as one of the biggest recall ever in US history!!
- Honda recalled 646 K of its Fit/Jazz and city globally due to faulty window switch
- France’s Peugeot Citroen recalled nearly 100K of peugeot 107 and Citroen C1 made in Czech where Toyota and PSA jointly made cars.
- Feb 2010 – Toyota again recall its cars! 437K of Prius, Sai and Lexus hybrid globally.
- Honda also recall another 438K cars globally to replace an airbag deflator that could rupture.
- Nissan also following the other Japanese automaker unnecessary step by recalling its 76.4 K cars across 10 models in Japan and 2.2 K overseas due to potential defect resulting in engine failure
- Suzuki motor also will recall 432.36 K unit after fire accident due to AirCon defect.
- Daihatsu recall 60.7 K unit of minicar model due to its wiring problem
- And then… GM says its recalling 1.3 Mn compact cars model : Pontiac G5 & Chevy Cobalt 2005-2010, Pontiac Pursuit 2005-2006, and Pontiac G4 2005-2006 in Mexico.
So yeah.. What the heck is happening in our dearest autocarmaker????
Is this a result of high pressure for them to create money as much and as fastest as possible, keep continuing the cash flow? So that somehow.. somehow.. the defects are going undetected and they already launched the products too fast to the market??? This punch definitely not going to bring them anywhere near pra-crisis situation.. In fact, this just worsen their wound….

Story: Paper cranes with Japanese cake. I will describe it a bit so you can feel your saliva drowning your mouth. Kekekekek..... It`s thin layer of very soft sponge cake with thick layer of light sweet cream. When you take a bite, you immediately reach the cream part and fulfill your entire mouth with soft sweet sensation. Hmm… yummy… (^,^)
Berikut adalah gerbong kereta api kelas eksekutif kereta api Gajayan yang aku gunakan dalam perjalanan dari Solo ke Jakarta. Interiornya mewah dan mirip dengan interior pesawat terbang lengkap dengan penutup tempat menaruh barang dan juga terdapat lampu baca di atas tempat duduk penumpang. Di depan kursi juga diberi majalah kereta api. Di bagian restorasi juga ada fasilitas untuk karaoke. Keren..
Sayangnya sepertinya tidak semua kereta api eksekutif memiliki gerbong seperti ini. Kereta Api Eksekutif Taksaka II yang aku gunakan kemarin dan juga kereta api Eksekutif Argolawu yang biasa aku pakai tidak memiliki gerbong sebagus gerbong kereta Gajayana tersebut.
Di kereta api Gajayana tersebut juga tidak ada fasilitas pesan makanan via SMS seperti yang terdapat di kereta api Taksaka II. Well, mungkin memang kebijakan perkeretaapian berbeda-beda di setiap daerah operasi (DAOP).

Today is Vivi and Uria`s farewell party. Main course is Mie Ayam (Noodle with Chicken) by Rosana, [yummy] and lots of dissert, like cheese and chocolate cake, avocado juice, etc. Today we have a lots of fun, even we will have a farewell.
After finish my laundry and re-arrange my cabinet, and when I saw my hanging
yukata, I feel I want try to wear it again. It will spring soon. Maybe I will get a chance to wear it in a
matsuri.

Story: paper cranes with "personal" coffee maker. Do you know how bad I want a coffee maker, but if it unaffordable, so just try to make some “innovation”. I found that with this personal-mobile-thermos, we can make great black coffee.
[1] Just pour 1 table spoon of coffee and boil water
[2] close the thermos for couple minutes
[3] open the thermos, pour the coffee to glass and you can have fine black coffee
I think the pressure make the coffee even better. What to try? ^^
Kereta api ternyata menangkap fenomena kemajuan teknologi selular dengan memanfatkan layanan selular tersebut di salah satu kereta apinya. Kereta api Taksaka 2 dari stasiun Gambir Jakarta tujuan Stasiun Tugu Jogjakarta yang aku pakai ini merupakan salah satu kereta api yang memanfaatkan fenomena menjamurnya tren penggunaan teknology layanan selular yang digunakan oleh penumpangnya. Kereta api tersebut ternyata menyediakan layanan pemesanan makanan via sms. Cukup kretif.
Begini cara sederhananya. Jadi ketika penumpang sudah duduk di kursinya dan kereta api sudah mulai berjalan, petugas di dalam kereta api tersebut kemudian membagikan brosur menu makanan. Setiap satu lajur tempat duduk diberikan satu brosur menu makanan. Di dalam brosur tersebut disebutkan bahwa untuk memesan makanannya penumpang bisa mengirimkan sms dengan format tertentu ke nomor selular yang telah ditentukan.
Formatnya adalah :
MENU spasi noGERBONG/noTEMPATDUDUK.
Contohnya :
Beefsteak Eks 1/1A
Untuk memesan menu beef steak pada gerbong eksekutif 1 tempat duduk 1A
Setelah mengirimkan sms, maka nanti pelayan akan datang dengan membawa pesanan yang di kirimkan via sms tadi. Well, emang sederhana si tapi paling tidak cara itu termasuk terobosan baru di perkeretaapian kita meskipun dibrosur menu makanan tersebut tidak mencantumkan term of service layanan ini misalnya berapa lama makanan datang, bagaimana cara memberitahu kalau menu yang dipesan habis, dll. Selain itu juga dimungkinkan terjadinya fraud dimana penumpang pada gerbong lain iseng memesan makanan untuk orang secara acak di gerbong lain juga.
Meskipun telah ada cara memesan makanan via sms, namun cara memesan makanan via konvensional juga masih tetep ada. Mungkin untuk menjembatani pada proses transisi antara pesan dengan cara konvensional dan pesan dengan cara via sms serta mencegah adanya fraud pemesan iseng yang memesan makanan secara acak.
